Asebu, lecated in Ghana’s Central Region, is known for its vibrant community culture yet straggles with educational disparities. The region’s schools are essential for local development but are currently facing multiple obstacles that mit access to quality education

Dilapidated Infrastructure

Many schools in Asebu, like the New EBU Methodist Basic School, suffer fram unsafe and deteriorating facilities. Poorly maintained classrooms deter learning and compromise student safety, creating an urgent need for infrastructure renovation

LACK OF ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES

A significant number of students in Asebu are deprived of basic educational necessities such as uniforms, shoes, and stationery. This lack of resources directly impacts their ability to focus and engage in a learning environment.

STUDENT HUNGER

Food insecurity is a major barrier for many students in Asebu, disrupting attendance and concentration in class. Hungry students struggle to learn effectively, highlighting the essential need for a reliable school meal program

LIMITED COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Despite a strong commanity desire for educational Improvement, Asebu’s poverty severely limits funding and support for local schools. The community’s engagement is essential, yet financial constraints hinder collaborative efforts for enhancement.
